Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences team disseminated the project and its main outputs at the Health Summit in Weimar and at the cluster conference “Future of Care” in Berlin, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
At the Health Summit, Prof. Martina Hasseler presented the DDS-MAP modules in her lecture “Thinking care digitally. Standardized care language as a basis for successful digitalization” as an example of how the necessary skills of healthcare professionals can be developed.
The team showcased the Virtual Reality environment in exhibition stand to give the audience the opportunity to get a first impression of the modules and the integrated VR world. Conference participants who are mostly professionals in the health sector took the opportunity to learn more about the learning path of the different training modules, assessment and recognition functions.
At the cluster conference, Stephanie Krebs presented the four training modules developed in detail during the short session “Four micro-credentials for the cross-professional development of basic digital skills in healthcare”. During this interactive session, discussions were held around embedding digital change in healthcare infrastructure and service delivery. It can play a game-changing role in developments such as natural disasters, possible pandemics, natural catastrophes, and hacker attacks. The audience opens new perspectives.
Later on, a short information session dedicated to the local authorities in Wolfsburg and Lower Saxony was organised. The possibility of testing the training modules and virtual reality environment in the public health education and service delivery establishment was explored.
