On 26 June, the DDS-MAP Final European Conference was held in Brussels, bringing together healthcare professionals, policy makers, researchers, and digital learning experts from across Europe to celebrate the achievements and impact of the two-year of the project. On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek hosted a multiplier event as part of the European DDS-MAP project (Dynamic Digital Skills for Medical and Allied Professions), funded through the EU4Health program. The event brought together numerous participants from academia, the healthcare sector, and international project partners.
Taking place today (May 14, 2025) at University of Osijek, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek (Crkvena 21, 31000 Osijek), this multiplier event is open for in-person as well as online participation.
Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences team disseminated the project and its main outputs at the Health Summit in Weimar and at the cluster conference “Future of Care” in Berlin, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Daniel Hickey, a software engineer at South East Technological University’s Walton Institute, is at the forefront of using extended reality (XR) technologies to revolutionize healthcare training. His research focuses on developing immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences, such as a digital twin of a planned hospital in Bilbao, Spain.
The 2nd Central European Nursing Conference, held at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland, on September 13-14, 2024, provided a significant platform for discussing advancements in nursing education and practice. The conference featured a session focused on the DDS-MAP project, showcasing its latest findings and contributions to the field.
On 19th of November 2024 the DDS-MAP project consortium partners met the advisory board members to update on project activities and results achieved so far. The meeting was chaired by Willie Donnelly and attended by the honourable members of the board.
